Nail Technology
The Nail Technology course is a 420 hour comprehensive training program that includes
personal and professional development. Careful attention is given to ensure students have
a solid foundation in both academic and employable skills.
Should you decide to enroll, entrance requirements are grade 12 or an equivalent, and a
personal interview to ensure suitability. Part A is incorporated into our main
Holistic Esthetic Program and is scheduled to begin September. Part B, advanced topics,
usually begins in June, immediately following the graduation of students from the main
program. Class hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
The student must purchase a student kit with the materials necessary to start both part A & B of the
course and a uniform. A list of materials required will be supplied upon registration. The
school only accepts a limited number of applicants, potential candidates must pay a
$250.00 pre-registration fee to secure a seat in the program which will be deducted
from the cost of tuition.
The Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia requires that each student pay $125.00 for
Student Registration and Provincial Examinations and $31.00 towards the Nova Scotia
Training Completion Fund. Upon successful completion of provincial
exams students will receive a license to practice in Nova Scotia.
Rooms in residence are available for those students who wish to stay on campus.
