The Maritime Art Institute. They allow estheticians and healthcare providers to further
develop and expand their skill set.
All continuing education courses are offered dependent on sufficient registration. We
recommend contacting our staff to confirm the availability and dates of courses in which
you are interested. Customized courses can also be offered for larger groups of
individuals and business organizations.
Course attendees may use our on-site residence for overnight stays at a cost of $50.00 per
night (double occupancy $10.00 extra)

Lymphatic Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage is a massage system that helps promote movement of waste matter
through the lymphatic channels, thus aiding in the detoxification of the body. The massage
is applied through application of gentle pressure on the skin surface.
Applying this method before surgery helps drain and stimulate the immune system and the
autonomic nervous system to help prevent infection, alleviate spasms and pain and
stimulate fluid circulation.

Introduction to Homeopathy
This one-day course is designed to teach the basic principles , history and philosophy of
the homeopathic field of medicine. The course further covers how some of the basic
homeopathic remedies can be used in first aid and emergency situations.
Participants learn how the remedies are prepared and how to match symptoms of illnesses to
particular remedies. In addition, the course brings forth an understanding of when to
contact and how to work with a homeopathic physician to treat both acute and chronic
conditions.
